Lady in the Dark continues its great run in Europe this season. In December, the Dutch online opera magazine Place de l’Opera named the recently premiered production by Opera Zuid as “Opera of the Year.” Runners up included three productions by the Dutch National Opera as well as a Giulio Cesare (G.F. Handel) by De Nederlandse Opera.
